Amazing People Doing Amazing Things

This is what my friend, Jen called her dinner. She runs the Harvest Street Mission, which feeds the community on the Northside every single Sunday. She wanted to gather the leaders from other local organizations into one space to share what we were doing to help others. It was very inspiring to hear the stories of how they started & where they are these days. Cleaning houses seemed like the easy way out, compared to going to the homeless camps in rain, sleet or snow to serve a hot meal. God gives us each different gifts & abilities, with the grace to carry them out-that was clear to me tonight! One of my favorite things about running BHP, is the amazing people I’ve met along the way!
