Hope Grows and the Iris Respite House

I met Lisa Story a few years back and we have since came alongside of each other on many occasions. She is the founder of Hope Grows & Iris Respite House in Moon Township. Her organization offers resources & programs for caretakers to learn how to rest, cope & heal with all that they are taking on. This vision has blossomed into a beautiful community that uplifts, that helps, that stands united together to walk through the journey of caretaking and how to navigate it in the most successful way.

Blessed Home staff and volunteers at the Iris Respite House

We celebrated volunteer week this year by cleaning the Iris Respite House for Hope Grows. It’s very well kept, but we just gave it a little extra love & care. It’s important for us to keep these connections in the community strong and our relationships with other organizations thriving. It was our way of letting them know we are here in support of what they are doing in the lives of others.

The level of attention and care this awesome group gave was just mind-blowing.
