Supporting the Community | July 2024
This month has been about being in the community, by supporting others in what they are doing!

We attended the McClelland’s Cookout, sponsored by our friend and owner, Brock. He has such a generous heart & really focuses on how he can support the local community. There was DeeJay’s BBQ truck, Kona Ice, drinks & bounce houses-all free of charge. They had a bunch of giveaways & great music for everyone to enjoy. The Blessed Home Project brought a water relay race for the kiddos. They had to fill a sponge with water, run to the other side & squeeze it out into a bucket; whoever filled their bucket first won a prize. It was a fun time, especially on a 90 degree day!

Later this month, we went to the Christian Cookout, hosted by Keenan Baker. I met Keenan at our last church & also through mutual friends. He & his wife have a heart for the community they live in and want to share Jesus with them. His vision for this event had started 4 years back and has grown each year since. He works really hard to find people & businesses that will sponsor the event. Because of his efforts, everyone can enjoy free food, raffles, snow cones, music & faceprint. There was even a prayer tent & baptism tank for anyone interested. BHP had a table to give our information & interact with all those in attendance. Throughout the afternoon, various people shared their testimonies & gave messages from the Word of God. It was such a beautiful thing to be a part of!
This month we celebrated our 100th cleaning of 2024! I think back to when this all started, with just me & a few friends that would help here and there. Now it has grown in such a big way, it’s so amazing to see! It will continue to reach people near & far, in Jesus Name!
